# Career Interest Quiz

> A free Holland-code (RIASEC) career interest quiz that runs entirely in the browser. No sign-up, no model, no data sent anywhere.

## What it does
- Quick quiz: 36 work activities (6 per interest type). Full quiz: 72 activities (12 per type) and 29 specific interest areas.
- Five-point answers (strongly dislike to strongly like). Each type's score is the mean answer scaled to 0-100.
- Result: the six RIASEC scores (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional), a three-letter code, a hexagon chart, differentiation (spread of scores) and consistency (hexagon distance of the top two types).
- Matches 923 occupations by profile shape (Pearson correlation between the user's scores and each occupation's interest ratings; fit = 50 x (r + 1)). Full quiz adds the specific areas at 25% weight.
- Filters by preparation level (job zones 1-2 to 5) and 23 career areas; each occupation shows typical tasks, most common education, related jobs and a link to O*NET OnLine.
- Shortcuts: enter a known code (e.g. SAE) to skip the quiz; three example profiles.
- Share: a link that encodes the scores (#s=R72I85A40S30E20C55), a 1200x630 PNG result card, summary text, Markdown report, CSV of all matches.
